Located just minutes from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, our learning center provides high-quality care and educational experiences for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. From our sprawling campus – a five minute drive gets you from the drop-off point to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and back again at the end of the day. We are also close to Fairborn, Huber Heights, Riverside and Wright State University. Aside from our top notch childcare and preschool classrooms, we also offer before and after school care for school age children in local school districts.
Victorum Learning Center – Valley Pike is a 6,600 square-foot building that sits on over two acres of wooded land. Closeness to the natural environment has been proven to enhance learning, creativity and happiness.
Our educational environment focuses on nurturing the whole child. Our goal is to help your child grow physically, socially, emotional and cognitively while in our care. We meet every child where they are and support their progression towards appropriate benchmarks. We utilize the Creative Curriculum system in conjunction with Teaching Strategies Gold and Ages and Stages questionnaires for assessment and screening purposes.
We believe that parents are our partner in their child’s growth and development. To keep parents involved in their child’s day, we utilize Child Care Seer. This program allows parents and approved family members a way to communicate with staff, view attendance, daily sheets, and progress reports. We are able to share pictures and videos of what is going on in the classroom with you throughout the day to make parents feel like they are an active part of their child’s day. This easy to use system is also how we manage billing and payments.

Meet some of our loving staff
Our Early Learning Centers invest in our educators, who often earn specific age-appropriate Internationally-Recognized Credentials, complete hundreds of hours of professional development, and mentor each other. Our Educators are friendly, caring, and experienced to take on the challenge of assisting your child with their care and development throughout the day.
I found my passion as an infant teacher over three years ago and every day I love what I do more and more. I spend a lot of my free time staying as up to date as possible on infant development to create a secure and loving foundation that all of the kids in my care will carry with them through the rest of their educational journey.
I am new to working in childcare, but have always worked with children since I can remember. I am an early childhood education major with a minor in psychology. I have a passion for learning and constant self-improvement. ONe of the reasons I love working at Victorum so much is how happy all the children are! It’s a great center!
Working with children always makes me learn new things. I am a dental assistant students and look forward to working in a pediatric dental office. Working at Victorum Learning Center makes it impossible not to smile!
My Name is Sam. I have three children that attend Victorum. I love Victorum because you have full creative control to teach and help kids grow. I’ve been in childcare for three years and am currently a nursing student.
I am a native Daytonian who has been in the education industry for 18 years. I hold degrees from Sinclair Community College, Wilberforce University, and the Forbes School of Business.
What I enjoy most about working with Victorum Learning Center is the impact I have with families. Whether it is access to high quality care and education or simply connections with local resources, I enjoy helping others.
As the Director of Operations, I also enjoy guiding education professionals in their careers. Whether they are entering the field or joining us as a veteran, supporting professional growth is very satisfying.
I began my career in early childhood education as a preschool teacher over seventeen years ago and have been with Victorum Learning Center since its inception. I work with all four of our locations to create a safe and nurturing educational experience for all of our students. In addition to my Vicotrum family, I also have four daughters that keep me on my toes.
I spent most of my years growing up in the Dayton/Huber Heights area. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Wright State University and a masters degree in literacy from the University of Dayton. Overall, I have 12 years of experience in the childcare and education field.
I joined Victorum in October of 2022 and in my role I help with implementation of best practices, creating monthly newsletters to keep parents informed of what is going on in the centers, and many other administrative tasks to help keep our centers running smoothly. I enjoy seeing what’s going on in each of our learning centers and being able to offer parents a window into what their child is doing while they spend their day with our excellent teachers.
